Conorbis somniator (Oppenheim, 1901)
The stout, squat shell consists of five whorls decorated with fine spiral lines, their height roughly equal to their width. The last whorl is likely about the same height as the spire. Posteriorly, anterior to the superficial suture, lies a broad but shallow depression, which is closed off anteriorly by a keel-shaped swelling of the shell, while a weaker projection separates it from the suture. This depression corresponds to the well-developed pleurotomite sinus. The outer lip, judging from the growth lines, was strongly crescent-shaped. The anterior canal and the tip of the spiracle are broken off.

but is easily distinguished by its shape, the more developed
posterior depression, etc. The Pleurotoma

respect, already differs in its more elongated, slender form and its
different sculpture
It has a discreet resemblance to Conorbis grotriani.
